Our Mission

The California Pacific Northwest AI Hardware Hub is an infrastructure of physical and virtual facilities with the mission to serve regional and national needs for lab-to-fab translation of AI hardware technologies. Academia and industry partners will collectively accelerate lab-to-fab transition and system demonstration at scale, bridging the “valley of death” to ensure the commercial viability of the Hub's innovations.

The Northwest-AI-Hub comprises dozens of academic institutions, National Labs, and industry partners, covering the entire value chain of semiconductors, from materials, devices, to EDA and chip design, packaging, as well as system prototyping and testing.
